Stayed at a wooden cabin, felt like a forest queen. Shower pressure was delightful. Plenty of parking. Had all the kitchen essentials. Super convenient location with shops and pubs nearby. Massive park for the kids to play.

Ran out of hot water mid-shower , but hey, who needs warm showers anyway?

It was super base for visiting most Didcot attractions.

The room at Southernwood - Garden Lodge 6 was cozy and inviting, making me feel right at home. I loved having my own kitchenette, complete with a fridge, microwave, and kitchenware. The bedroom was comfortable and the TV was a nice addition for some relaxing downtime.

Personally, I found having a stovetop in the kitchenette a bit unnecessary, but I understand that others may find it useful.

Liked the bathroom, it was fairly clean...

We stayed for 3 nights and loved our stay, didn't want to leave.

The Southernwood-Garden Lodge 6 was such a cozy little apartment! It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, like a TV for when I wanted to unwind, a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge to cook some simple meals, and a comfy bedroom to get a good night's sleep. It felt just like being at home!

I wasn't a big fan of the kitchenware in the apartment. It just didn't feel very user-friendly to me.

The cabins were absolutely lovely, with a cozy and relaxing feel. I felt so comfortable and warm during my stay. The shower was powerful and refreshing, which was exactly what I needed after a long day. Plus, I really appreciated the amenities provided in the cabin like a hob, microwave, kettle, and fridge, as well as tea. It made it feel like a home away from home. The location was also great, with grocery stores and a few pubs/restaurants within a 10-minute walk. And the best part? There was a huge park just across the street with a kids' play area!

One small downside was that the hot water ran out late morning during my stay, right in the middle of my kid's shower. It did come back on after about an hour, but it would have been helpful to have been informed that this could happen regularly.

The wooden cabins were super cozy and gave off such a relaxing vibe, making us feel right at home. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable and warm atmosphere, perfect for a weekend getaway. The powerful shower was mind-blowing! We were also thrilled to find ample free parking available. The kitchenette was well-equipped with a hob, microwave, kettle, and fridge, and they even provided tea, coffee. It was a bonus to have grocery stores and a selection of pubs/restaurants within a short 10-minute walk. And let's not forget the jaw-dropping huge park right across the complex, complete with a kids play area. The cherry on top was the free Wi-Fi in the rooms. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Loved the "complimentary WiFi" and the "private parking available onsite" because who doesn't enjoy paying extra for these basic amenities? Also appreciated the "terrace and free private parking" because I needed somewhere to park my helicopter.
